Eligibility:

• This contest is open to all nationalities and residents of all ages.

• Participants must register online by completing the official registration form and paying the registration fee.

• Participants must be able to provide valid identification if requested.
   

Registration and Audition Process:

• Registration Fee: A non-refundable fee of RM50 is required to register for the audition.

• Online Registration: Registration must be completed online through the official contest website. Upon successful registration, participants will receive an audition confirmation email.

• Unlimited Audition Attempts: Participants are allowed unlimited auditions if they fail to qualify, provided they re-register and follow the booking process for each attempt.

• Confirmation Email and ID: Contestants must bring their audition confirmation email and identification (ID/Passport) to the venue on the day of their scheduled audition.
   

Voucher Offer:

• Upon successful registration, each contestant will receive a voucher worth RM75 that can be redeemed at the Best Bundle Factory Outlet.

• Voucher Issuance: Vouchers will be issued in person at the audition venue.

• Voucher Validity: Vouchers are valid until the contest concludes from the date of issue and are non-transferable.

• Terms of Use: Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and are subject to the terms and conditions of the outlet.
   

Audition and Performance Rules:

• Song Selection: Contestants will perform a song of their choice from the YouTube link (Karaoke Version) that they submit during online registration. Performances are limited to 5 minutes per audition.

• Arrival Time: Contestants are required to arrive at least 30 minutes before their scheduled audition time. Late arrivals may forfeit their audition slot.

• Behaviour: Any inappropriate behaviour, offensive language, or gestures during the audition will result in immediate disqualification.
   

Competition Details:

• The auditions will take place from 19th October 2024 to 30th November 2024 at Best Bundle Port Klang.

• Participants who qualify for the next round or the semifinals will be contacted via WhatsApp for further details and instructions. Please ensure that the phone number provided during registration is active and accessible.

• Participants will be required to perform a karaoke song of their choice in front of a live audience and judging panel.

• All performances must adhere to the event's guidelines, which will be provided to participants upon successful registration.

• Performances that do not comply with the rules and regulations shall be disqualified. All decisions made by the organizers regarding this competition shall be final.
   

Judging Criteria:

• The judges will look for a creative, engaging, and inspiring performance. Your performance will be judged based on:

  • Vocal (50%): Vocal Technique – Tone Quality, Breath Support, Intonation, Diction, and Articulation; Rhythm & Tempo – Voice in relation to music.

  • Expression (30%): How well the performer is able to express the meaning and mood of the song.

  • Showmanship (20%): Show Design – Music Selection/Instrument Used, Effective use of Performance Area, Outfit, and style; Entertainment Value – The audience’s and judges’ reaction to the overall performance.

• The judging panel reserves the right to reject any submission without notice or explanation to the participant.

• All decisions made are final and no correspondences shall be entertained.
   

Prizes:

• The winner of the competition will receive a cash prize of RM50,000.

• Prizes must be claimed in person unless the organizer prescribes another mode of collection.

• Where the organizer elects to post a prize to a winner, no responsibility will be accepted by the organizer for the safe and effective postal delivery of the prize.

• Prizes are non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded.
   

General Rules:

• Participants must arrive at the venue at the specified time. Late arrivals may result in disqualification.

• Participants must conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner at all times. Any form of misconduct may lead to immediate disqualification.

• By entering the competition, participants consent to the use of their image, performance, and likeness for promotional purposes by the organizers.

• By submitting the Application Form, the contestant shall be deemed to have read, understood, accepted, and agreed to be bound by the Terms and Conditions of the competition.

• The contestant must be in a good state of health and free of any serious and/or contagious illness.
   

Organizer's Rights:

• The organizer reserves the right to at any time change, amend, delete or add to the Terms and Conditions and other rules and regulations, including the mechanism of the competition, at its absolute discretion.

• The organizer reserves the right to vary, postpone, or re-schedule the dates of the competition or extend the competition period at its sole discretion.

• The organizer may terminate or suspend the competition at any time at its absolute discretion, in which case the organizer may elect not to award any prize. Such termination or suspension will not give rise to any claim by the contestants.

• The organizer shall have full charge and control of the manner in which the competition and/or program or any part thereof shall be produced, marketed, used, distributed, exploited, exhibited, and/or otherwise disposed of throughout the world, if at all.

• Contestants agree that their personal data, including but not limited to name, mailing address, phone number, works, performance, and email address, may be collected, processed, stored, and otherwise used for the purposes of conducting and administering the competition.
   

Liability:

• The organizers are not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings during the event. Participants and attendees are advised to take care of their personal items.

• Participants acknowledge that their participation in the competition shall be at their own risk. Participants shall be responsible for obtaining adequate insurance coverage (including travel insurance) for the purposes of competing in the competition.

• The organizer shall not be liable to reimburse the contestant for any costs and expenses incurred in relation to the competition, including without limitation transport, grooming/makeup, accommodation, and meal costs.
   

Disqualification:

• Any participant found engaging in fraudulent activities, using unauthorized equipment, or violating the competition rules may be disqualified without refund.

• The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant who fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
   

Cancellation and Refunds:

• The registration fee is non-refundable unless the event is canceled by the organizers.

• In the event of cancellation, the organizers will communicate with participants regarding refund procedures.
   

Personal Belongings:

• Participants and attendees are responsible for their personal belongings during the event. The organizers will not be held liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal items. Please ensure that all valuables are kept secure at all times.
